Dr. Trisha Gibson - BSc, DC
After her first adjustment at the age of 12, Dr. Trisha Gibson knew that chiropractic was the profession that she wanted to pursue. After completing her honours undergraduate degree in Human Kinetics at the University of Guelph, she was accepted to the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with Clinic Honours in 2003.
Returning to the Ottawa Valley after completing her eight years of post-secondary education, Dr. Gibson chose the town of Arnprior to begin her practice. After 8 years in practice, Dr. Gibson purchased the property of the current In Tune Chiropractic in 2011 and opened its doors on January 02, 2012.
Dr. Gibson addresses an array of musculoskeletal issues using Diversified manual adjustments, soft tissue techniques, and she is advanced proficiency rated in the Activator Method Chiropractic Technique®. She also promotes health and wellness by emphasizing prevention and lifestyle changes. She has a special interest in family care, including prenatal and pediatric care. Dr. Gibson believes in lifelong learning and furthers her education through seminars in technique, diagnosis, and clinical knowledge. She is a member of the Canadian Chiropractic Association, the Ontario Chiropractic Association, and the Chiropractic College of Ontario.
Dr. Gibson is married with two children. In her spare time, Dr. Gibson is an avid fiddle player and is highly involved in her community through her music. Staying active is also an important lifestyle choice for Dr. Gibson and she enjoys cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, biking and golf.
